Open System Consultants Pty Ltd. announced today the release of Radar – a real-time, interactive graphical tool for remotely monitoring one or more Radiator Radius servers.
Radar allows administrators to remotely monitor, analyze and control Radiator Radius servers and thereby maximize the performance and availability of their Radius authentication system. Radar provides administrators with tools to recognise, notify and diagnose issues with their authentication system.
Using Radar administrators can be alerted immediately to performance or accessibility problems with their Radiator servers, or with downstream radius servers. Administrators can see historical trends in server performance and throughput, allowing prompt action to be taken, and preventing end user dialup access problems.
Radar is a source code product which operates on most UNIX and Windows platforms and greatly enhances the Radius suite of software developed by Open System Consultants. Radiator RADIUS authentication server was first released by Open System Consultants in 1998 and is now a world-leading, highly portable, configurable and flexible RADIUS server.
