We are excited to announce that Radiator Software is now a member of the Wi‑Fi Alliance, a milestone that underscores our longstanding dedication to advancing Wi‑Fi technology, interoperability, and security across the industry.
Deepening our contribution to the RADIUS and Wi‑Fi ecosystem standardisation via Wi-Fi Alliance
Radiator has a long history of securing RADIUS network authentication and authorisation with technologies such as RadSec (RADIUS over TLS) and SIM based EAP methods, such as EAP-AKA. Securing RADIUS and other management network traffic for security and privacy reasons is becoming increasingly important, joining the Wi-Fi Alliance to ensure the testing and interoperability of those solutions via cooperation with other vendors.
The Wi‑Fi Alliance is the industry consortium responsible for Wi‑Fi certification programs, specification collaborations, and driving forward next‑generation Wi‑Fi standards. The membership enables us to participate in the Wi-Fi Alliance’s working groups, to work together in developing specifications and testing Wi-Fi technologies. We are also looking forward to sharing our experiences and views on utilising technologies such as post-quantum encryption (PGC) in securing Wi-Fi RADIUS authentication.
The Wi-Fi Alliance membership is the natural next step in expanding Radiator’s contribution in the RADIUS and Wi-Fi ecosystem standardisation, together with our active contributions in the IETF working groups and the Wireless Broadband Alliance membership.
Meet Radiator team at Amsterdam
The Radiator team attends the Wi-Fi Alliance Member Meeting in Amsterdam from October 21-23, 2025. The Europe meeting is the first for our team and we’re looking forward to the keynotes, panels and demos, and most importantly connecting with the other WFA members.
