Dashboard

Radiator Core and Radiator Policy Server feature a dashboard for monitoring. The main dashboard shows you overall information about server statistics. Graphs can be filtered to show desired handlers.

Counters

The user interface shows you counters for all handlers. Clicking any counter will show graph for specific counter, with more information on accepts/rejects, requests/responses, as well as information like latency.

Log viewer

The user interface displays authentication, accounting and application logs. Logs column can be filtered and re-ordered locally to fit employee role.

Latency

Counter-specific graphs show latency from request to response, with values for how fast certain percentage of requests has been handled. In this picture, 80% of requests have been handled in 178ms or under.

Decentralised offloading network for Operators

One of the current biggest trends in networking is decentralised networks – and improving their use both in terms of user experience and coverage. As companies deploy massive networks of Wi-Fi access points into people’s homes, businesses like restaurants and shops, and venues like stadiums and shopping centers, there is also a need for improved usage.

For the people and businesses who deploy the access point, the main driver is receiving some form of payment in return. In addition to conventional transactional models for renting out APs, sometimes these models include different models that use non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and/or cryptocurrency. For the company deploying the network, the benefit is offloading operators cellular traffic onto these APs on contractual basis.

With a massive network of access points and potentially multiple operators offloading their traffic onto the network, this use case requires flexibility and demands high performance from the system’s AAA server.
